2025 Services and Fiscal Policies

NOTICE: Effective March 1, 2025

Fiscal Philosophy / Vision:

Our company is attempting to be a significant and impactful resource to surrounding baseball and softball communities and to bring our value to the public at the lowest price points possible.  We want to incent our youth to train at a high level without driving them out of the sport purely in the interest of company profit.  That said, in recent years we have seen huge business cost increases that force us to implement changes to our academy’s cost structure and policies.  The following document outlines the costs of our services and our fiscal policies which are effective immediately.

Standard Services and Financial Incentives:

The following section conveys services, cost structure, and rationale including certain incentives.

  • Payments:
    • Initial consults and individual lessons – payment is due at time of service.
    • 8-packs, foundational and specialty camps, plus the winter program, are all heavily discounted.  To receive the benefits of the reduced pricing, payment is due in full, up-front.
    • Team training:
      • If paying from the team budget, ½ the team training fee is due up-front.  The second half is due on-or-before the last day of training.
      • If paying individually, payment is due at the time of video assessment.
    • We accept the following forms of payment; Zelle (224.281.0716), major credit / debit card, check, and cash (although we cannot provide exact change) for which a written receipt is provided.
  • Initial Consults – Are required to begin training with our academy.  An elite pitching instructor will assess player training needs and goals, make sure clients understand our academy’s mission, and conduct a video assessment to baseline player movement patterns.   The assessment will identify upper and lower body loading and unloading disconnects in the kinetic energy chain and identify mechanical constraints.  It will prioritize these items to create a roadmap for personalized training.  Players will receive a written report they can take home which includes details of the results.  If healthy, players will undergo a short velocity test to create a baseline from which to track progress over time.
  • 1:1 Lessons – Are the most impactful method of training that can occur for 12U and older players. Lessons are tailored specifically to player needs identified during the initial consult and hyper-personalized to refine the training model to achieve performance results.  Players will learn proper wake-up / warm-up protocols, arm action drills and arm care, and focus upon upper and lower body loading and unloading plus recovery.  We want players to move better and throw with zero pain.  Focused 8-session sprints (8-Packs) are the most effective way to train, which is why we provide a significant financial incentive for an 8-pack of lessons.  Sprints typically focus upon; foundational movement patterns, velocity, control, secondary pitches, command, or pitch design (such as arm slot, release point, pitch tunneling, developing swing & miss “stuff”).
  • Team Lessons – can be highly effective as well for 8U+ players as long as we conduct video assessments to personalize training cycles.  Another key is to maintain solid student / instructor ratios.  Teams contracting with us must commit to the following:
    • A minimum of six players to participate.
    • Schedule and make players available for video assessments prior to the beginning of training.
  • Foundational Throwing Camps – For 8U to 11U are meant to be an introduction to elite level training but tailored for this specific age group and their level of maturity.  Emphasis is upon fundamental movement patterns and throwing with no pain, tightness, or tenderness.
  • Players Younger than 8U – Youth athletes below age eight (8) are not ready mentally or physically for the kind of training that an elite overhead throwing academy provides and we do not work with players younger than 8U.
  • Winter Program (for 15U+) – To qualify for our Winter Program a player must have prior completed at least one training sprint with our academy.  This program is for veterans who have experience with our arm care protocols, who wish to take their training to the next level, and who wish to be surrounded by players with similar training goals.
  • SCORE – The S.C.O.R.E is a whole body movement assessment which uses a series of tests to identify poor or compensatory movement patterns and/or mechanics specific to your sport that may be impacting your performance. It creates a baseline of athletic movement that can be re-assessed each season, assists in tailoring off-season and sport specific exercise for measurable long term player development.
  • Consent – Consents are kept on file until players turn 18 at which time they need to sign for themselves as adults.
